2021 is the 60th year celebration of the birth of Smith Lake. The Smith Lake Dam was formally dedicated on May 23, 1961, but it was not put into service until water had filled in behind the dam by its actual service date of September 5, 1961. The lake continued to fill the remainder of 1961 and beyond. This shirt celebrates the 60th year of Smith Lake becoming the beautiful lake it is today.
