We offer content that celebrates the people and entities who form the community. We want nothing more than to convey our overall deep-rooted love for lake life. Lewis Smith Lake entertains people from all over the country, all over the world. The Lakeside Life looks forward to sharing information across our platforms to inspire those who want to know more about the Smith Lake life. Best of Smith Lake - Our community votes annually on their favorite businesses in a given year for the entire lake area - including all businesses in the tri-county area as well as businesses outside the area that serve the lake community routinely. Voting is open year round, and the contest is usually wrapped up in fall of each year. Currently we have over 200 categories in which businesses can win the top spot, and we add categories upon request. The top 3 winners overall are those who receive the most votes in the entire contest, and we're now celebrating the top 25 since the contest has grown. It's simply a fun way for the community to give back to the businesses with which they have received superior customer service in a given year. VOTE NOW for your favorites!

We highlight the people, businesses and activities surrounding our lake. Established in October of 2017, the magazine was originally designed to be published on a quarterly basis - except through COVID to present where we have since printed 3 issues a year (tri-annual) and it worked out great to help our advertisers through a tough financial period. And we found our readers enjoyed larger issues this way. Who knows, we might continue that! Our publication is heavy, thick, full of content featuring over 150 elite area advertisers. We are developed, designed, and published locally - 100% LOCAL - no expensive out of state franchise involved that YOU have to pay for.
We use our reach on social media to further promote not only our advertisers, but all our supporters and readers, and their take on living lakeside!
