ARTISANS

January 26, 2020 - CALLING ALL ARTISANS - we are asking for your help.  As you know, we are planning a charity art auction to benefit 3-year-old Easton Todd Earnest (see more info on our feature nonprofit page).  Further details will be announced later.  For now, we request donations of any art that you have already completed, or that you would like to complete for this event.  The deadline for submissions is April 20, 2020.  Categories are unlimited:  painting, drawing, writing, photography, crafting, jewelry, sewing, pottery, woodcraft, etc...  We gratefully accept all custom art donations.

We intend to individually post photos of the artwork on social media with full artist credits and live links.  We also plan to post individual photos of the donated art pieces on social media to begin the auctioning for each piece, and bidders may be able to submit through the website or social media private messaging.  We're working on the details, and will provide those soon.  We will post artwork on the LSL Art Alliance social media sites and through The Lakeside Life Magazine sites over the duration of the auction period as pieces arrive, and we will also add them to a display wall gallery on the website with linked artist credits.  See the gallery section below.  The Gallery will remain on the site after the auction is complete.  We are also considering displaying pieces in local establishments, if we can find interested parties.  

Again, we will accept bids until a final bid date TBD, and we hope to hold a final showing for the last day of bids where winners will be announced soon after, TBD.
